CHICAGO, IL - July 24, 2007 - Orbitz Worldwide, whose corporate travel brands serve everyone from the small, independent business traveler to the large Fortune 500 corporation, is now helping those attending corporate meetings readily plan and book travel through a new strategic alliance with StarCite, the largest on-demand global meetings management company in the marketplace today.
StarCite provides a web-based software platform for enterprise meetings management that helps organizations bring visibility, savings and control to corporate meetings and event spend. Through this new alliance with Orbitz Worldwide's Corporate Travel Solutions Group, StarCite users and meeting attendees will be able to book travel on Orbitz for Business and Travelport for Business direct from the StarCite Attendee Management application. The new travel booking feature is expected to be available to customers by the first quarter of 2008.
